Six More Homeowners ‘Graduate’ Cornerstone Class
On January 8th, another 6 Habitat for Humanity of New Castle County homeowners graduated the “Cornerstone” construction class. This multi-week course, taught over the span of 4 consecutive Saturdays by Habitat staffers and volunteers, teaches prospective homeowners basic construction skills before they go onsite and help build their new home. On February 5th, another 6 Habitat for Humanity of New Castle County homeowners will start classes. |  |
HELP TEACH IT! Are you pretty handy around the house? If so, then we need your help. We are looking for SKILLED volunteers to help teach our Cornerstone class. This multi-week course is taught for 4 consecutive Saturdays and teaches prospective homeowners basic construction skills before they go on site and help build their new home.
