ReStore

The Habitat ReStore is a non-profit business venture supporting the community through the resale of new and used home improvement and renovation supplies. The Habitat ReStore specializes in the resale of overstocked/discontinued new and gently used merchandise, donated by manufacturers, stores, contractors and individuals. These items are sold to the public at a discount of 50%-90% off of retail prices.

Proceeds benefit Habitat for Humanity's building operations.

Sobieski Inc. offered the contents of a warehouse to Habitat ReStore. We emptied the contents into our ReStore truck and three storage containers. Some of the items are on the sales floor now and the rest will be available for purchase as space permits. Among the items are cabinets, doors, door hardware, windows, mirrors, shutters, molding, and much more. Along with the generosity of Sobieski Inc. we are also grateful to the University of Delaware's Habitat for Humanity Chapter which provided nine volunteers for the day and the 10 Americorps volunteers who came over in the afternoon to help load up the storage trailers.

Once again we have recieved a large donation from a hotel. This time it has been a donation of furniture from a hotel in Newark. We have TVs, credenzas, coffee tables, mirrors, end tables, framed prints, tables, and chairs available for sale now.
