New Castle County ReStores

Every purchase at our ReStores offers new opportunity. Thank you for shopping!

As part of Habitat for Humanity New Castle Counties, our ReStores are nonprofit thrift stores that accept donations of new and gently used furniture, appliances, home décor, and building supplies from the public.

When possible, donated building materials will be used to build and preserve Habitat homes. Extra building materials, along with furniture, appliances, and other items are sold to the public at more than 50% off retail prices.

Each donation and purchase makes a big difference toward the mission of Habitat for Humanity: to build homes, community and hope. But the impact goes far beyond that.

Your support makes a difference.

Cheris' Story

You may recognize Cheris – one of our newest Habitat homeowners – Cheris is one of the smiling faces greeting shoppers at Habitat’s Price’s Corner ReStore.

Growing up in foster care, Cheris never really had a place of her own.  Encouraged by former Habitat ReStore Director, Bob Caguin, to apply to Habitat, Cheris took the first step; seeking the stability of one home and one school system for her children.

Sales at our Habitat ReStores support the construction of Habitat homes and create happy endings for mothers like Cheris.  Join us in building homes, community, and home.

ReStore Updates

Refrigerator Replacement Program

Our Refrigerator Replacement Program has been running successfully and we are proud to be able to provide this wonderful opportunity to folks in our community, thanks to Energize Delaware Empowerment Grant. If you have a refrigerator manufactured before 2013 that is not energy efficient, you could qualify! Stop in the ReStore today to discuss with our staff, or visit to fill out an application.

Volunteer Extraordinaire

The ReStore would like to take a moment to honor one of the hardest working volunteers we know.

Thank you Mr. Richard Cronin for dedicating your time since 2018. Richard tests all the appliances & electronics at the Price’s Corner ReStore, along with various other services. Richard is closing in on 2000 hours of volunteer time! We are very grateful for having him around. His donation of time cannot be replaced.

Thank You Donors

December saw donations at the ReStore coming in full blast! We had so many wonderful residential donations, and large corporate donations as well.  Special thanks to Nemours, WSFS, Delmarva Power/Exelon, DaSTOR, HomeStar Remodeling. And we had additional residential pickups from some of our regular donors like Stonegates Retirement Community, Cokesbury Village, Ferris Home Improvements, and Ferguson Bath Kitchen & Lighting.
