The Development Specialist will understand non-profit development and have experience working in and managing the donor database, DonorPerfect, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of constituent information. This key role will succeed in providing skillful database and website management, with the ability to execute the essential responsibilities of gift processing, tracking, and reconciliation with finance. In partnership with the Development Team, the Development Specialist will ensure that the HFHNCC website offers accurate and fresh content and is functioning appropriately for the organization’s needs. The Development Specialist will conduct research to identify current and prospective donors who can make major gifts to support HFHNCC and its mission. He or she will stay abreast of developments in the field, seeking professional development opportunities to improve department efficiencies and personal skill development and provide recommendations for new processes, upgrades, or tools, when necessary.
