Marketing Specialist
(Full time, Exempt)

Habitat for Humanity of New Castle County is seeking a talented professional to serve as its Marketing & Communications Specialist in support of our vision of a world where everyone has a decent place to live.

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing all Habitat for Humanity of New Castle County’s (HFHNCC) marketing, external and internal communications, driving effective and engaging messages and visuals across media outlets, and contributing to HFHNCC’s voice, presence, and reputation in the community. In collaboration with the Director of Development, you will drive the big-picture strategy for HFHNCC’s marketing and communications efforts annually, including developing best practices for content development and dissemination, leading external communications, organizing special events, and building Habitat’s local brand through its website and social media presence.

Staff Accountant
(Part Time)

The Staff Accountant is part of the Finance Team and will help advance Habitat for Humanity of New Castle County (HFHNCC)’s mission by processing timely and accurate payments to all vendors and staff.   They will also ensure that all receipts are deposited timely and recorded accurately.  The work must comply and be in accordance with generally accepted nonprofit accounting principles and practices.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Accuracy and attention to details are essential.
  • Experience in Accounts Payable, Payroll and Accounts Receivable.
  • Ability to work with a minimal of supervision – self-motivated and confident.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word and Excel), QuickBooks Desktop Preferred.
