We believe that decent, affordable housing plays a critical role in helping families create lives filled with possibility and progress. Through building affordable housing, assisting with critical home repairs for low-income homeowners, and engaging communities in neighborhood clean-up and beautification projects, Habitat is revitalizing blighted communities in New Castle County.

Rock the Block is an extension of our work to revitalize neighborhoods in New Castle County. One family, one block, one street at a time. Neighborhood residents team up with Habitat staff and volunteers for a one or two-day blitz to repair, refresh, and restore a neighborhood where Habitat is currently building.
Habitat’s East Side Neighborhood Revitalization Initiative, which began in 2006, has included the construction of over 30 units of affordable housing to date and has impacted the lives of over 600 families with critical repair and beautification projects.
We currently do not have Ring video doorbells in stock for distribution. However, identifying the community’s interest in installing battery-operated video doorbells may help us get funding for additional units.
If you are interested in receiving a Ring doorbell, please click the link to fill out this form, and we will contact you with the next steps if we acquire additional Ring video doorbells for distribution.
