Our HFHNCC Neighborhood Revitalization team invites you to join us for an upcoming community meeting.

When:  March 1, 2023 from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm

Where:  Bancroft School

How Often:  Can’t make the next meeting?  Don’t worry, we will meet on the first Wednesday of every month.

Topics of Discussion:  upcoming Eastside events, Rock the Block, and leadership training.

Special Guest:  Councilwoman Michelle Harlee, District 4, City of Wilmington, and Mama Ngina, Culture Restoration Project Inc. will be joining us.

Aging in Place Critical Repairs Information Session

Habitat for Humanity of New Castle County provides critical home repairs for older homeowners so they can age in place.

Habitat will hold an information session on our Aging in Place program on Tuesday,  February 28 from 9 am to 11:30 am.

Location: Rose Hill Community Center | 19 Lambson Lane, New Castle, DE 19720

Attend this session and learn how to qualify for the program and all of the services we offer so that older adults can age in place safely.

Join the HFHNCC Neighborhood Revitalization team for leadership training on Saturday, February 11, 2023.

Time:  9:00 am to 4:00 pm (breakfast and lunch will be provided)

Where:  1920 Hutton St, Wilmington, DE 19802

What to expect:  Interactive games and prizes as we discuss topics centered around building strong community leaders, understanding a sense of community, understanding social cohesion, and understanding collective action.

Topics of Discussion:  upcoming Eastside events, leadership training, climate/weather resiliency, discussion of City of Wilmington Phase II critical program, and the repairs program within the Eastside community starting from 7th to 11th street and from Lombard St to Kirkwood St.

Special Guest:  Honorable City of Wilmington Mayor, Mike Purzycki, will be joining us.

Dine & Donate

Enjoy some craft beer and delicious entrees from First State Brewing and help out Habitat for Humanity of New Castle County while you dine.  20% of net sales from all guests will be donated to help build homes, communities, and hope in New Castle County.
